What is hydrocarbon dry cleaning?
Dry cleaning means your clothes are cleaned in a solvent instead of water. It is the right treatment for fabrics that can shrink, lose their shape or bleed colour in a normal wash — such as wool, silk, viscose and garments with linings or shoulder pads.
We use hydrocarbon solvent (marked F on care labels) instead of traditional perchloroethylene. It works at a low temperature with a gentle spin, so it is kinder to the fibres and to the environment.

How it works
- 1Drop off your clothes at the shop on Godthåbsvej 46, Frederiksberg.
- 2We check the garment and care label with you.
- 3Stains are pre-treated by hand before cleaning.
- 4Your clothes are cleaned and pressed, ready for pick-up in the shop.
Reading the care label
A circle on the care label means the garment can be professionally cleaned. An F inside the circle means it should be cleaned with hydrocarbon solvent — exactly the method we use. A P means perchloroethylene, and a crossed-out circle means the garment must not be dry cleaned.
If you get a stain, bring the garment in as soon as possible and tell us what caused it.
